Ninja Creami Dole Whip is one of our favorite recipes to make in the Ninja Creami and a must on your list of Ninja Creami Recipes. This Dole Whip is bursting with tropical pineapple flavor, and it’s the ultimate treat. Even better is that you can make it at home instead of spending thousands of dollars at Disney! This treat is creamy, dreamy, and full of great texture.

Ninja Creami Recipes are easy to prepare ahead. This one uses real crushed pineapple for authentic flavor, is rich and creamy, plus much cheaper and faster than a Disney trip!

What ingredients do you need for Ninja Creami Dole Whip?

  • Heavy Cream or Half and Half
  • Milk
  • Granulated Sugar
  • Vanilla Extract
  • Crushed Pineapple in Juice

This recipe uses simple ingredients. If you want to use alternative sweeteners or adjust the sweetness, that is an option, such as maple syrup, low-calorie sweeteners, or sweetener of choice.

Can you make this dairy-free?

A Dole Whip is creamiest with dairy-based milk as written; however, you can substitute out the milk with Coconut Milk or Almond Milk. This will affect the texture versus using the heavy cream based milk. With coconut milk it will be similar to a sorbet.

Tips for Using a Ninja Creami Machine:

It’s important to remember that your frozen treats have to chill in the freezer for 24 hours before blending them. This is referred to as the base of the recipe, the base needs to be frozen all the way through.

If yours is fully frozen before 24 hours, then you would be fine to blend it up, but to get the best consistency, it’s always best to freeze it for a full 24 hours.

It also needs to be frozen flat and even on a level surface, meaning it’s not leaning to the side or tossed in the freezer.

When using the machine, remember that you need to press the button and move the handle right to release your blender assembly from the machine.

How do you make a Dole Whip in the Ninja Creami?

The ingredients will be combined in a large bowl and then poured into the Ninja Creami Pint that comes with your machine. Once the ingredients are combined, it’s time to freeze the Ninja Creami pint container with the gray lid for at least 24 hours. This is called processing the pint jar.

The pint will then be secured to the Ninja Creami with the outer bowl and use the ICE CREAM function. After the first spin, it’s best to spin it again to reach your desired consistency, this will give it a soft-serve creamy texture. After the re-spins, you will have a smooth and creamy consistency. It can be immediately served, or if you prefer, it can be frozen for 30 minutes to harden up a bit more.

Tips for Making the Best Dole Whip Recipe:

  • ALWAYS freeze the mixture on a flat surface.
  • Do not skimp on the freezing time; 24 hours yields the best result.
  • If it’s crumbly, always respin. Even adding a tablespoon of milk or a splash of milk will help smooth out the mixture before respinning.
  • Use coconut milk for a lighter option; just note that it will not be as creamy.
  • Serve it soft right after spinning, or put it in the freezer for solid ice cream.
  • Crushed Pineapple works better than Pineapple Chunks and gives the best flavor, using the pineapple juice too.
  • Add a tropical twist with pineapple chunks on top and shaved coconut for serving.
  • Add additional fruit such as strawberries, mango, or raspberry if preferred.

How do you store leftovers?

The leftovers can be stored in the freezer right in the Ninja Creami Container, along with the lid. When ready to eat again, it’s best to reprocess it with the “re-spin” or “lite ice cream” function to bring back the soft-serve ice cream consistency. If it’s too firm, add a tablespoon of milk.

Using the Ninja Creami makes it so easy; just prep the mixture, freeze, spin, and enjoy. Whether you’re craving a refreshing summer treat or a little Disney magic on a random Tuesday, this homemade Dole Whip hits the spot every single time.
