What type of grill should you use for these skewers:

Sweet and Sour Chicken Skewers

This recipe can be made on either a traditional gas or charcoal grill or on a pellet grill. The key is to keep it at medium-high heat which is about 400 degrees F. This will give them a nice grilled texture without drying out the chicken.

Sweet and Sour Chicken Skewers

If using a pellet grill, the best pellets to use are cherry or apple, these fruity flavors pair well with the flavors of the sweet and source sauce. It’s best to avoid strong woods like mesquite, they will overpower the chicken with smoky flavor.

Always use a meat thermometer when cooking to monitor the internal temperature, which should be at least 165 degrees F to be considered well done.

How to store leftovers:

If preferred, reheat in the air fryer at 330 degrees F for 3-5 minutes, give it a spritz of olive oil spray to restore the texture.
