Is it even possible for pizza to get even better? It is with this Slow Cooker Pizza Soup. It takes all those great pizza toppings and piles them into a warm soup!
We made this recipe way back when this website first started and it has been a staple ever since. It’s a great option for a cold day and it uses mostly pantry-style ingredients too.
Since I’m gluten-free, I paired these with Better Batter Garlic Buns. If you are not gluten-free, these Air Fryer Garlic Knots are a great choice!
What do you need for Slow Cooker Pizza Soup?
Remember these are going to be the main ingredients but you can really customize this in any way that you prefer.
If you like ground sausage, bell peppers, Canadian bacon, or any other toppings, you can most definitely add those to your soup.
- Water
- Pizza Sauce
- Chopped Onion
- Sliced Mushrooms
- Tomato
- Pepperoni
- Tomato Soup
- Rosemary
- Parsley
- Garlic
- Pasta or Gluten Free Pasta
- Mozzarella Cheese
- Garlic Salt to Taste
It’s important to note that when making this in the slow cooker the pasta will go into the slow cooker in the last 30 minutes of cooking time.
If you want to make this even better add some of this Homemade Pizza Seasoning!
After that, the soup needs to be immediately removed from the heat and served.
Can you make this in the Instant Pot or Ninja Foodi?
Yes! It is simple to turn this into Instant Pot Pizza Soup or Ninja Foodi Pizza Soup.
Follow the same method as you would for the slow cooker; however, you will want to add all the ingredients including the pasta to the instant pot.
Once you have the ingredients in the instant pot, cook on high pressure for 4 minutes!
At that point, do a quick release of the pressure and serve.
Now, are you ready for Slow Cooker Pizza Soup? It’s time to serve this up paired with your favorite garlic bread!
