What ingredients do you need?

How do you make this recipe gluten-free?

The only swap needed to make this gluten-free is to use Gluten-Free Frozen Meatballs. We have found these available at Target under the Good & Gather Brand.

It’s imperative to check all ingredients before using as they can change at any time on the package.

All other ingredients are naturally gluten-free, however, as always check all ingredients first to be sure they are free of cross-contamination.

What barbecue sauce should you use for Slow Cooker BBQ Peach Meatballs?

The barbecue sauce is a very important decision because it will impact the entire flavor of this dish. Remember that peaches are already sweet, so a spicy or savory BBQ sauce is going to be the best choice.

We like to use the Original Head Country Barbecue sauce or this Homemade Barbecue Sauce.

I would avoid sweet barbecue sauces as it may make the meatballs too sweet.

Variations of Peach Meatballs:

  • Make it Spicy – Use a spicy sauce or red pepper flakes.
  • Make it Kid-Friendly – Add cheese and bacon to the meatballs.
  • Make it Deluxe – Serve with roasted brussel sprouts or on a charcuterie board.

How do you serve BBQ Peach Meatballs?

These meatballs can be served as-is for an appetizer or side dish, or they can be served over rice or mashed potatoes as a full meal.

They can also be crumbled up and added to a quesadilla, wrap, or pasta with a cheese sauce.

How do you store the leftovers?

Leftover meatballs can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. When ready to serve, warm the air fryer at 350 degrees F and heat on an oven-safe plate for 2-3 minutes.

Alternatively, they can be warmed on a microwave-safe plate for 1 minute or until heated through.
