What type of pressure cooker should you use?

Tips for Making Pressure Cooker Pulled Pork:

  • Let the pork rest – After adding the seasoning, let the pork rest for at least 1 hour to bring to room temperature.
  • Don’t skip searing – The saute function will be used to lightly sear the pork before pressure cooking, this will brown the meat and add additional flavor to the meat.
  • Choose the right cut of meat – Pork Shoulder or Pork Butt are ideal for pulled pork this is because they will have a tender result.
  • Variety of ways to serve – The shredded meat can be served on potatoes, sandwiches, nachos, or even pizza!

How long can you store leftover pulled pork?

Once the meat has cooled, store the leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. When ready to reheat warm up in the microwave for 1-2 minutes. It can also be stored in the freezer for up to 3 months, when ready to reheat, defrost fully and reheat on medium heat on the stovetop in a skillet.
