Make this EASY Ninja Foodi Applesauce with fresh ingredients in about 5 minutes!

One of the easiest ways to make some delicious applesauce is in your Ninja Foodi with this Ninja Foodi Applesauce.

This recipe can be made in the Ninja Foodi or the Instant Pot.

Tips for Making Ninja Foodi Applesauce:

This method does use peeled apples, so it’s important to peel the apples before putting them in the pot of the Ninja Foodi.

We use 3 pounds to make this recipe, which will yield about 6 servings or 3 half-pint-sized jars.

Once you have the apples peeled and placed in the pot, simply add in the water, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla extract. That’s all you have to do for this simple recipe!

What apples should you use for Ninja Foodi Applesauce?

This recipe uses Granny Smith apples, which really work well to hold their flavor when cooking.

These apples hold their sweet and tart flavor during the cooking process.

Although we typically use Granny Smith apples, you can use any variety it will just yield different flavors. It’s also a fun combination when you use multiple types of apples such as Granny Smith apples and a Golden Delicious apple.

The biggest tip is to use a softer apple, not quite so hard and crunchy so that it sustains the same cooking time as it would for Granny Smith apples.

How is applesauce made in the Ninja Foodi?

Making applesauce in the Ninja Foodi is literally the easiest method that you will ever find. It’s a simple combination of peeled apples paired with water, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. I also like to add a little splash of vanilla extract too.

Once this is added to the pot of the Ninja Foodi, you will then want to use the pressure cooker lid that comes with the Ninja Foodi. This will be sealed in place and then pressure cooked for 5 minutes.

This will end up being a favorite over the store-bought versions especially when discovering how simple it is to make.
