Instant Coffee Iced Caramel Latte

My husband has learned something over the year, 10 years actually, that it is best if he waits to talk to me in the mornings until I have my coffee. I must have my coffee in the morning, it’s the first thing on my to-do list!
How to make an Iced Caramel Latte in an instant?
The thing is even on the cold days I prefer my iced coffee recipe over really any others. The issue is most mornings I am too busy to get that made until I discovered how well Folgers Instant Coffee met that need!
Did you know that you can dissolve instant coffee into cold water? Yep, you sure can! Did you know that means your ice isn’t going to melt in an iced coffee? That’s right, no melting!
My husband is an Iced Caramel Latte addict, although I guess this is more of an au lait since it doesn’t use espresso, but we will go with latte.
How to make an Iced Caramel Latte or Cafe au Lait
I decided to show him how easy these are to make on his way out the door and he’s in heaven. He can even make the coffee the night before and just let it sit in the fridge over night, that gives it a more strong taste as well. 
Now, to make these all you need is caramel syrup, about 6 ounces of Instant coffee prepared, and milk. Of course, you can add whipped cream too, that’s just necessary!
I start by adding in my caramel syrup, then I top it with my coffee that I made in less than 10 seconds, then, I finish it off with milk. It’s as easy as that!
Now, I’ve saved myself at least $5 at our local coffee shop and I’ve made this in just under a minute. I can get on board with that, can you?
Folgers instant coffee is now coming to my rescue and especially my husband who is really enjoying these on a daily basis, not to mention he’s happy when I have my coffee.

Fill a glass with ice and set aside.

Mix the instant coffee per the directions but use cold water instead of warm. It should dissolve within seconds.

Add the caramel to the glass, this needs to be about 1/4 inch thick, so use more or less depending on your glass size.

Add in the coffee, this should come up to leave about 1/3 of the cup empty.

Then, top with the milk.

Add whipped cream and drizzle more caramel then enjoy!
