Quick & Simple Poppy Seed Fruit Salad
Make a delicious Poppy Seed Fruit Salad!

One of the easiest but delicious things to make when fruits come into a season is a nice fruit salad.

This is a great mix of fresh, in-season fruit. We love to add a variety. I shared this recipe a few years ago in the summer months, but as we head into the spring I thought I’d share it again.

Are you planning to plant a garden or any fruit this year? I hate to say we aren’t, but we aren’t.

I really want to but for some reason, we just do not have luck in the house that we are in. We have way too many bugs that decide to take part in our garden. We’ve decided it’s just not worth the money when we lose everything, so I’ll be shopping the farmer’s market a lot this summer.

This is just the perfect fruit salad for the spring and summer season. All of the produce is so delicious and fresh.

It turns into a sweet and delicious fruit salad.

Should you keep the skin on the kiwi?

The real debate in our family is about kiwi. Did you know that it’s actually best to keep the skin on the kiwi?

That’s where a lot of nutrients are, so I clean it off well to get the hairy part off then I slice it and eat it with the skin on. It’s totally up to you though on which you prefer.

What do you need for Poppy Seed Fruit Salad?

  • Kiwi
  • Strawberries
  • Grapes
  • Blueberries
  • Apples
  • Lime
  • Honey
  • Poppy Seed

Time to Make Poppy Seed Fruit Salad

My husband and I differ on it, he prefers it off, I like it on. So it can be the family debate in your home too.

Now, what are some of the go-to items for your lunches this upcoming year? I’d love to hear even more ideas. I’ll be sharing a few later this week too!

Enjoy!
