Our garden is doing so well this year, I’m actually pretty shocked. How is yours doing? I’ve been updating pictures on Instagram with some garden photos if you want to follow along there.

As all that produce comes up in the garden, the next thing to do is figure out how to use it!

We love to use our garden fresh produce in these 31 garden fresh produce recipes. Each of these is typically made over the course of the summer and into the fall months. Of course, fresh is always nice too; however, I’ll admit that the summer is my favorite time for meal planning.

I typically just stock up on meats, grill them and add some fresh vegetables. That means dinner without thinking! Isn’t it nice? This year too, we also have a pool to relax in, I’m so excited about that especially in the evenings.

We used to run off and go to the community pool in the evenings in the summers past as soon as we were done with dinner so that my husband could go.

Now, we can just eat and get in and out of the pool right in our own backyard. Can you tell I’m a little excited?

This year, we decided to stick to one of those above ground pools that you can easily take down. If we like it and can figure it out without too many issues, we may invest in a permanent one next year.

I actually enjoy that you can try it in a way before you really buy it, that’s kind of nice! I also find it funny that we were so adamant when we were buying this home that we didn’t want a pool, now we want a pool in a huge way! Guess that’s what happens when your kids get older?

Things change and suddenly it’s not so scary, but when they were babies, that was a very different story.

Now, of course back to these garden fresh produce recipes. What are some of your favorite vegetables that grow in the summer months?

We are planning to go pick blueberries at a local farm down from our home this year. Plus, I plan to visit the peach festival too. I’m ready for some fresh peach cobbler, aren’t you?
