Holiday Shopping with SearsStyle & Shop Your Way

As we enter the holiday season, finding the perfect style for holiday gatherings and parties has always been a must on my list each year! This year, it’s a bit different since I’m 38 weeks pregnant and likely to have a baby soon. I shopped with the notion that I will probably have the baby before Christmas, so I want holiday styles that I can wear both while I’m pregnant and after.

I decided to start by looking online at SearsStyle via Shop Your Way. I actually really enjoy this website because I can make a board of all the ideas and styles that I am looking for. Then, when I’m ready I can either go to the store and purchase or purchase right online!

As I shopped online, I noticed a trend of all things sparkle. It became clear that sparkle is all the rage this holiday season, so I knew I was going to look for some tops that had flecks of sparkle in them. What could be more fun than sparkle?

First on my list that I knew I wanted to purchase was this dress and tunic style top. The dress has flecks of gold shimmer or sparkle as we will refer to it all throughout the dress. I thought this would be perfect over leggings, which are so comfortable after I have the baby. I’ll likely wear this to a holiday gathering with the family or even to church.

Then, I fell in love with the tunic. I know that I will wear this often with jeans and boots and dress it up for a night out or a party but also make it casual for day time!

After I decided on what styles I was looking for, I headed on to the store to see what I could find that would match what trends I was going with. As soon as I walked in the door, I was immediately greeted with sparkle on every rack! It made me even more excited for the Christmas season!

I found a basic silver tunic that had flecks of gold spread throughout it that I had to have! Not only will it be great for after I have the baby, but even better I can wear it now! This came in especially handy on our last date night, I was able to wear it with a gray cardigan and then black boots making it a great casual date outfit, likely our last date before the baby arrives.

Of course my son wanted a picture with mommy too. He is sporting his own unique fashion, I happen to think it’s beyond cute!
