Tips for Marinating a Steak:
Use a variety of seasonings and flavors for the steak marinade, and be sure to let it sit for a long while in the fridge. In the case of this particular steak, 1-4 hours is about right, but it can also marinate overnight.
Steak marinade comes together quickly and should only be used for the steak you are currently marinating; for instance, do not save the marinade and use it for next time. It doesn’t work that way, so trust me when I say don’t do that!
Steak does not have to be marinated; however, if you do marinate it will give the steak a more tender texture and also a robust flavor.
- Do not marinate for more than 24 hours.
- Discard the used marinade.
- Make it an easy meal by pairing it with baked potatoes or fresh salad!
- This marinade can be used on any cut of steak. Ribeye and Filet are the perfect tender steaks that become even more tender with this marinade.
- Add extra herbs to boost flavor; additional fresh herbs can be added for serving.
How do you make Gluten-Free Steak Marinade?
The only swaps needed to make this recipe gluten-free are to use gluten-free soy sauce and gluten-free Worcestershire sauce; all remaining ingredients are naturally gluten-free.
How do you store leftover marinated steak?
After grilling the steak, store the leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days. When ready to serve, reheat in the microwave or in the air fryer at 330 degrees F for 2-3 minutes.
It only takes a minimal amount of effort to make those steaks taste like they came straight from a restaurant with this delicious marinade recipe. It’s time to enjoy a grilled steak.
