Easy Sheet Pan Pizza With Refrigerated Dough (Gluten-Free Option)
Make this quick and easy sheet pan pizza using store-bought refrigerated dough. Perfect for weeknights, family dinners, or feeding a crowd.
If you are looking for a quick and easy dinner for the family, this Sheet Pan Pizza with Refrigerated Dough is the answer for those busy nights! It has very minimal prep and can be made with any refrigerated pizza dough OR homemade, plus you can make it gluten-free too if needed with gluten-free pizza dough.
Using a store-bought refrigerated pizza dough keeps it super simple, but you can also do homemade if you prefer. Using a sheet pan gives it those crispy edges with a soft center, and customize it if you’d like with your favorite toppings. This is our go-to for a fast pizza night that the whole family enjoys.

What refrigerated pizza dough should you use?
If you need gluten-free, the BEST gluten-free refrigerated dough is Wholly Wholesome Pizza Dough. For this sheet pan recipe, I’d suggest using TWO of these to reach the 1 1/2 pounds that this recipe uses; there may be a little bit extra to but it just makes for a bit thicker crust. We love to use this as it cuts down lots of steps when it comes to making the pizza from scratch. We purchase this regularly at Sprouts.
If you do not need gluten-free, other refrigerated pizza dough to use would be Pillsbury Refrigerated Pizza Dough. This one is actually great because you can roll it out right out of the can. Again, I would purchase TWO of these to fill the entire sheet pan to reach 1 1/2 pounds of dough. Sprouts, Aldi, and Trader Joe’s also have refrigerated pizza dough balls in their refrigerator aisles that work well for this recipe.
If you prefer homemade dough, see the notes in the recipe card below for the homemade pizza dough recipe option.
Tips for Sheet Pan Pizza with Refrigerated Dough:
- Use Gluten-Free Refrigerated Dough for the Gluten-Free Option.
- If you prefer homemade dough, see the notes in the recipe card for a homemade dough option.
- Use a half-sheet pan about 18×13.
- Let the dough sit out at room temperature for about 10 minutes to make it more pliable to work with.
- Brush the pizza with olive oil for an extra crispy crust.
- Do not overload the toppings, but be sure to customize to your preference.
- Add red pepper flakes if you prefer a little spice.
How to store Sheet Pan Pizza:
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. When ready to serve, reheat in the microwave for 1 minute or until warmed through on a microwave-safe plate.
Sheet Pan Pizza with Refrigerated Dough is one of my favorite easy, go-to-meal especially with gluten-free refrigerated pizza dough. It’s easy to make and customize for the family, and it’s a nice mix of from scratch paired with store-bought, the best of both worlds. This Sheet Pan Pizza will hit the spot on a busy weeknight or for a movie night on the weekend with the family!
