As we head into the spring, it’s time to get a little inspiration from the beautiful weather hopefully headed our way. Today, I’m sharing 15 Spring Inspired Recipes!
When I think spring in relation to food, I immediately think of lots of lemon and fresh produce. Do you? I also always think strawberries although those are a little more summer than spring, I thought I’d add a few into my list too! What types of spring foods do you like to eat?
I also really like to fire up the grill! It’s time to get that grill dusted off from the winter and enjoy some evenings outside. We like to take just about everything for the meal and grill it including the main meal and the sides too. I especially love grilled okra too and grilled salad. A good grilled salad can be made in just under 5 minutes while the kids are outside playing. That’s my kind of salad!
Spring brings in lots of flavors and a newness in the air. Everything is given new life, right? Our yard will soon be tilled up to plant a garden and will take on a new shape and outlook for the next several months. I’ll then be making lots of meals with fresh produce. That just makes my heart happy all over again!
This year, I’m looking forward to a big garden. I told my husband to keep it small, then I started naming off everything I wanted to grow and he let me know that my small garden just turned huge in a hurry. I just can’t wait, this year I feel like we will really have more time to spend in the garden. I’ll be blogging about our garden a lot too because I plan to spend half the summer there….just saying.
